    What a great weekend. Cleaned and worked on the apartment, it's looking kickass. We had neglected things like windexing the front windows and junk like that for a while. A long while. Anyway, cleaned and spiffed the joint up. The girlfriend, who has the same hair as Clare from Six Feet Under but is prettier, is visiting for about a week. The weather is going to be great, we're supposed to have mid-eighties and sun all week. We're going to go out to eat a bunch and go to Museums (The Art kind and the Surgical kind) and do the things you're required to do, like get drinks at the top of the Hancock building and ride the gigantic Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier. Good times.

    I went bowling Saturday night, and it was so nice out that I walked home afterwards. 2 a.m. sober is a very amusing place, especially in my area when the Cubs had a day game. People are wasted and silly. The weather was so nice I could've walked all night.

    When I was riding to my friend's apartment last night to eat a big meal with a bunch of people and watch the Sopranos finale, I was beside myself about the weather. People in warm climates with nice weather constantly must get used to it, and if that's the case I pity them. Nothing beats this Spring/Summer feeling of HOLY FUCKING SHIT IT IS *SO* NICE RIGHT NOW. I mean, Winter is gone. It's nice out. Appreciate it. Without the crappy Winter to compare it to I don't think it would feel this good.
