May 28, 2004 - 2:04 pm: summer. You're dying to know, aren't you? The day went very well, long and very talk-y but I think everything went swimmingly. On top of that, it was a beautiful day. I've done my part, next week the big cheese is back on campus and I imagine the issues of job offer/negotiations will commence. We've hired someone else as well, which is very cool because she looks to have great experience and will fit in well here. The funny thing is that she was looking at *this* page, wondering if I was going for the same job, etc., but then I found *her* page and got to read about how she thought her interview went. We're pretty psyched to have her here. I suppose I should say 'hi' in case she still looks at this...'hi'. A good thing about working at a state university is that you can look up the salary of every person that works here. Makes for an interesting read, but also gives one more information for salary negotiations. Here's hoping I get some cold cash money next week. I may start running with some other librarians that I live near, starting in a week or so. Heck, I live by a lake, and this skinny frame could be in better shape. I can also run fairly well once I get in shape. I'm going to NYC for a day and a half, leaving tonight. My little brother graduates high school and it's his birthday as well. I am tired but looking forward to summer more each day. Plans are coming together for the visit in two weeks and it's going to be supercrazyawesome fun!
