June 19, 2004 - 9:44 pm: crossover
Well, today I had the first birthfamily crossover. My birthparents and my sister came out to my Aunt and Uncle's house and met them and a bunch of my cousins at a little bar-b-que they had today. It was sunny and warm, a beautiful New England Saturday. I was supposed to meet my brother this morning and go out on a boat for a bit but I was so tired that I completely overslept. Nothing like letting down a new brother you've only known for a year to make you feel sort of bad. But I'm going out with him and his friends tonight. He's really into the idea of having an older brother, and he's a great guy, so tonight we'll talk a lot and make a plan to keep in touch for real. whoa, got to run.
