I'm on a big Richard Russo kick right now, and I think his work is great. It's about damn time I read this guy, I've meant to for years but never did. I did the same thing with Paul Auster. Maybe it's good timing, because I'm a fan of both of them now.

Chicago is a great place to show people around, visitors just make it more fun. When else would you go to the 96th floor of the Hancock building for drinks and the view? The book, record and zine/comics stores rock, the restaurants rock, and we had a blast with the friends. Also got to see the new 'Six Feet Under'. Exciting stuff. I'm sort of embarrassed that it took me this long to get to the Museum of Science and Industry and the smaller Museum of Surgical Science.

I found out last night, thanks to closed captioning, that Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a Taurus. Just like me.
