    Went out again last night, this time with the roommate to the punk rock bar that has $1 beers and $2 whiskey on Monday. Such a deal! It was an event for this local and really cool skate magazine, a magazine for thirtysomething nostalgic weirdos like myself that still skate a bit but aren't like the young guns that shred. A magazine for purveyors of skate culture, if you will.

    Anyway, we had a good time and I played a pretty good game of pool, shooting well in the very serious punk rock room where everyone is way too good, only losing because I scratched on the 8-ball, unaware of how fast the table was. I also won a copy of the magazine, even though I bought one on Sunday, but who doesn't like to win stuff? I for one like winning stuff very much.
